GUIDELINES

These Guidelines are:

To help you decide whether or not you may be eligible for a grant.

To help you fill in the application form if so.

DEFINITION OF RURAL CHURCH YOUTH WORK

Rural Church Youth Work is defined as work among the 14 -24 age group and concerned with young people who live in settlements of less than 3,000 people.

 

MAIN CRITERIA

TRAINING:

Grants will be made to:

Enable Church Youth Leaders to attend a training course connected with their church youth work.

Enable someone to organise a training course for Church Youth Leaders.

RESOURCES

Grants will be made to help defray the cost of resources needed for rural church youth work. Such resources could include:

Printed material.

Audio/Visual Aid material.

Equipment.

Transport costs.

Premises (e.g. hire of Village Hall).

 

SIZE OF GRANT

Grants will not be more than £500 (five hundred pounds) in a single year.

Applications will be considered quarterly, beginning

March 1998

and applicants will be advised of the outcome

as soon as possible thereafter.
